Beautiful Engineering

Demand beauty when engineering rainwater and stormwater facilities.

Integration of rainwater management systems throughout our landscapes demands that they be beautiful. Systems that are not beautiful will not be replicated nor will they be sustained through endless cycles of maintenance and management. Conversely, beautiful alone is inadequate to maintain rainwater as a resource. Rainwater management systems must be engineered to maintain both their function and their beauty. Inadequately designed systems will quickly fail, providing neither beauty nor function. Performance, longevity, and beauty are a result of good engineering. This Pattern includes:

  •      Engineering Needs to be Beautiful and Beautiful Needs to be Engineered
  •      Stormwater & Rainwater Facility Types
